PURPOSE: A method and a terminal for forming a buddy group using a short distance wireless communication network are provided to form a buddy group using a short distance wireless communication network based on a client-client, thereby reducing a load of a system related to a central server. CONSTITUTION: A searcher(210) searches a buddy terminal. A transceiver(220) transmits buddy request information and representative terminal identification information to the searched buddy terminal. The transceiver receives buddy approving information and buddy terminal identification information. A buddy group manager(270) sets a communication link to form a buddy group.
