PURPOSE: A multimedia content service server and a method for providing a multimedia content service are provided to transmit multimedia contents related to the first mobile terminal to the second mobile terminal, thereby enabling the second mobile terminal to download a multimedia message while reproducing the multimedia contents. CONSTITUTION: A database(240) records multimedia contents corresponding to a mobile terminal. A checking unit(250) checks message transmission is requested from the first mobile terminal to the second mobile terminal. An identification unit(220) distinguish multimedia contents corresponding to the first mobile terminal. A transmitting unit(260) transmits the identified multimedia contents to the second mobile terminal.
