<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device which recognizes each low dc battery corresponding to two printer sections, which can perform printing made required for the time being even if there is no preparation of a battery to interchange and which does not make printed matter useless by failure of the printing by making it printing operation not stop in the middle of the printing of the printer section even after the recognition of the low dc battery of the printer section whose power consumption is larger, in the printer device having the two printer abilities by the two printer sections. <P>SOLUTION: The low battery is recognized from the reference value corresponding to the first printer section which performs the printing to an optical disk and the second printer section which performs the printing on a tape (steps S6, S7). When the first printer section is operated, the low dc battery is recognized corresponding to the first printer section.
