<p>Metallised strip consists of a strip transparent or translucent polyester film having a metallised surface covered with a thin layer of PVC, and a second strip of transparent or translucent PVC film, which is wider than the polyester strip and covers the nonmetallised surface of the polyester film, with its edges projecting past the edges of the polyester strip. The metallised strip is useful as a decorative element, e.g. for cars. The strip can be easily shaped without damage, especially pleating or creasing when subjected to bending, as a result of the provision of the protective PVC film.</p> |
