The apparatus has a case (1) for housing an electric-drive cooling fan (2) and comprising a pipe (10). The pipe has a wall (50) for channeling an air flow (F) from an output of the electric-drive cooling fan in the case along a circulation direction. The wall has an obstruction unit (38) arranged, along an angle ranging between 30 and 150 degrees, with respect to the circulation direction of the air flow. The thickness of the obstruction unit ranges between 1 and 5 mm.
