The method involves recording low-frequency acoustic signals of natural earth noise at time points using acoustic sensors that are arranged near an earth surface. The recorded signals are evaluated by frequency analysis, to determine data about a hydrocarbon deposit. The determined data is superimposed with static three-dimensional data, which represents a geological structure of a subterranean reservoir. The three dimensional data are collected using a reflection-seismic method, to create a dynamic structure model representing time-dependant changes of the fluid in the reservoir. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting fluid changes in a subterranean reservoir.
|
