Installation for automatic creation of an album bound from individual pages, in particular a photo album

The system has a creasing unit for creasing sheets output by a thermal printer (3) to fold the sheets and store the sheets in folded form. An adhesive application unit pastes some of the sheets. A flipping unit flips a part of a cover sheet. The sheets are received and compiled on a delivery board provided with registration features. The delivery board performs translational movement in a direction parallel to transporting direction of the sheets, and moves between multiple positions in synchronization with the adhesive application unit.
