PURPOSE: A method for preparing silica gel having an increased micropore diameter is provided to increase the micropore diameter and the micropore area of silica gel without washing the silica gel and to effectively remove water in the silica gel. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing silica gel having an increased micropore diameter comprises the following steps: producing a reactant by initiating a polymerization reaction after adding an acid solution to a silicate alkali solution; aging the reactant under a thermal process and alkali state when the silica gel is formed in the reactant; processing a compound which is selected from sulfonic acid, hydrocarbon ammonium, and sodium carbonate under high pressure and temperature after washing and separating the silica gel; and drying and filtering the reduced compound with the silica gel. |
