Intended is to provide a man-conveyor moving handrail, which can give a predetermined strength to the joint of canvas and which can prevent vibrations and noises at the time when a drive roller passes the canvas joint. For this intention, the canvas is disposed along the inner face of such an annular core made of a thermoplastic elastomer material as exhibits a C-shaped transverse section, and the surface of each of the canvas end portions adjoining at the joint is recessed deeper toward the core than the surfaces of the remaining portions forming the inner face of the moving handrail. On the other hand, a patch cloth is so interposed between the end portions of the canvas as to cover the clearance formed between the canvas end portions. Of the patch cloth, moreover, the surface of the portion corresponding to the flat portion of the core is arranged flush with the surface of the adjoining canvas, and the surface corresponding to the curved portion of the core is arranged in the state recessed from the adjoining canvas surface.
