PURPOSE: An automatic power setting method for automatically establishing the power of a femto cell according to the broadcast information of a peripheral macro cell and measurement information of a terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to implement smooth handover between the macro cell and the femto cell according to measurement information. CONSTITUTION: A demodulator(310) demodulates pilot channel information and broadcast information. An information collector(320) collects measurement information messages from the terminal existing within femto cell. A power setup unit(330) establishes the power of femto cell according to broadcast information. According to the power setting part is the demodulated information, the first power offset is established.
