DIGITAL BROADCAST RECEIVER AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital broadcast receiver and a method thereof are provided to receive/process a transport stream including a value-added data in various way. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit(110) detects a data bit from a stream. An encoder unit(120) encodes the detected data bit and generate two encoding values in each data bit. A stream configuration unit(130) constitutes a transport stream by using a generated encoding value. The transport stream is interleaved and transmitted on one packet of entire payload area while additional date which is processed against an error is inputted.
