PURPOSE: A sudden starting prevention device of a vehicle is provided to prevent sudden starting by structurally preventing the power of a motor which opens and closes a throttle valve from being delivered to a throttle valve due to electrical errors. CONSTITUTION: A sudden starting prevention device of a vehicle comprises a power transmission shaft(10), a fixed rotating member(20), and a movable rotating member(30). The power transmission shaft transfers power to a valve shaft(S). The fixed rotating member rotates around the power transmission shaft but is unable to move forward and backward along the power transmission shaft. The fixed rotating member is connected to an acceleration pedal. In case the acceleration pedal is pressed, the fixed rotating member rotates in the opening direction of a valve(B). In case the acceleration pedal(A) is released, the fixed rotating member rotates reversely to the original location. The movable rotating member operates with the power transmission shaft. The movable rotating member rotates with the fixed rotating member in case the motor is operated.
