PURPOSE: A wire/wireless controlling connection control device of a display device and a method thereof for easily separating a main body and a display are provided to reduce power consumption by controlling the connection of interfaces according to connected state of the display device and the main body. CONSTITUTION: A display controller(410) controls the power of movement of the display device. If a main body is wirelessly connected, a wireless interface transmits the signal offered through the wireless link to the display unit. If it is connected to the main equipment, a wire interface(430) transmits the signal offered through the wire network with the display unit.
