PURPOSE: An earth retaining method using a composite shell is provided to simplify a working process, and to reduce the construction cost. CONSTITUTION: An earth retaining method using a composite shell is as follows: A first-kind composite shell(320) with relative high-strength, and a second-kind composite shell(310) with relative low-strength are previously manufactured based on a certain design standard. The ground is drilled to insert the first-kind composite shell or the second-kind composite shell. The first-kind composite shell or the second-kind composite shell is inserted into an excavation hole formed by drilling. A cast-in-place pile(300) is formed by injecting filler(330) in the excavation hole that the first-kind composite shell or the second-kind composite shell is inserted. An earth retaining wall is formed by continuously constructing the cast-in-place piles. |
