COLON CANCER DIAGNOSTIC MARKERS USING UP-REGULATED GENES

<p>PURPOSE: A marker for diagnosisng colon cancer is provided to accurately diagnose colon cancer in early time and determined metastasis and prognosis of colon cancer. CONSTITUTION: A marker for specifically diagnosing colon cancer is MAD2L1[MAD2 mitotic arrest deficient-like 1(yeast)](GenBank No. NM_002358), CCNB1[cyclin B1](GenBank No. NM_031966) or CSEIL[CSE1 chromosome segregation 1-like(yeast)](GenBank No. NM_001316). A composition for diagnosing colon cancer contains an agent for measuring mRNA or its protein level of MAD2L1, CCNB1 or CSEIL gene. The agent for measuring the mRNA level is a primer which specifically binds to the gene. A method for providing information for colon cancer diagnosis comprises: a step of measuring mRNA from a biological sample of a patient which possibly has colon cancer; and a step of comparing mRNA level with control group mRNA level.</p>
