SEPARATION DEVICE AND SEPARATION METHOD OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device and a separation method of liquefied natural gas capable of suppressing degradation in distillation performance of a distilling column and improving efficiency of separation of ethane and LPG from liquefied natural gas.

SOLUTION: The separation device 1 for LNG has the distilling column 2 for vaporizing methane included in material LNG to extract extracted gas mainly composed of methane. The separation device 1 includes an overhead condenser 4 for performing heat exchange between the extracted gas extracted by the distilling column 2 and the material LNG supplied to the distilling column 2 to liquefy part of the extracted gas; and a recondenser 12 for performing heat exchange between remaining extracted gas of the extracted gas part of which has been liquefied by the overhead condenser 4 and liquefied extracted gas obtained by liquefying extracted gas to liquefy the remaining extracted gas.
