PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, an information storage medium and an image generation system by which the texture of an object can be expressed with reality in the case of a back light state. SOLUTION: This program for generating an image when an object space is viewed from a prescribed point of view is configured to make a computer function as an object space setting part for arranging an object and a light source in the object space and a plotting color setting part for setting the color of the plotting pixel of a primitive configuring the object by compounding the color of a first texture with the color of a second texture according to attribute information set according to texels configuring the second texture, and the plotting color setting part compounds the color of the first texture with the color of the second texture so that the composition rate of the colors the first and second textures can be made higher in the case of the back light state than in the case of a forward light state based on the direction of the point of view and the direction of a light source.
