PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry an easy-to-break and eacy-to-damage web with a web surface having no contact with a roll surface in a section along a travel supporting roll while changing the direction thereof. SOLUTION: In a section where the web 1 travels along the travel supporting roll 2, the web travels with the web surface 1a having no contact with the roll surface 2a in a state that a liquid film 3a having a thickness greater than a combination of web surface roughness and roll surface roughness is laid between the roll surface 2a and the web surface 1a.
