<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal and a radio communication method, having a reduced load of an error correction, in a radio communication terminal of a diversity system having a plurality of antennas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal (100) having a plurality of antennas (ANT1, ANT2) of which relative distance is variable includes: a decoder (120) for repeatedly decoding a reception signal including an error correction code received by the plurality of antennas (ANT1, ANT2); a detection section (140) of distance among antennas for detecting distance among the plurality of antennas; and a control section (130) for controlling the number of repetition times for decoding signals by the decoder (120) according to the detected distance among antennas.
