<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer enhancing usability by attaining a long life of a transferring part by suppressing precipitation and adhesion of impurities at the chip end of the transferring part to avoid clogging of a fine gap of the transferring part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer has a water storing part 2 storing water, a transferring part 3 transferring the water in the water storing part 2 to a chip end side of a part outside of the water storing part 2, an opposed electrode 4 arranged at the chip end side of the transferring part 3, an impressing electrode 5 impressing a voltage onto the water inside of the transferring part 3, and a voltage impressing part 6 impressing the voltage to the impressing electrode 5. The water stored in the water storing part 2 is transferred to the chip end side of the transferring part 3 by the capillary phenomenon of the transferring part 3, and the water thereof is atomized at the chip end of the transferring part 3.
