<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner or a two-component developer, by which a toner having small particle diameters with a sharp grain size distribution can be prepared without requiring a classification step and the toner has a longer life and can prevent a void or scattering in a transfer process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner is manufactured by: mixing at least a resin particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of resin particles, a carbon black particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of carbon black particles, an ε-type copper phthalocyanine particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of ε-type copper phthalocyanine particles, and a wax particle dispersion liquid having dispersion of wax particles, to produce a mixture liquid; adding a flocculant to the mixture liquid to flocculate the resin particles, the carbon black particles, the ε-type copper phthalocyanine particles and the wax particles to produce core particles; or further depositing a second shell resin on the core particles.
