<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and simplify the structure compared with a prior art, and to improve assembly workability of a relay. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The leakage relay includes a connecting part 1 to connect a power supply and a load, a detection part 2 to detect a grounding fault current, a breaking mechanism 3 to cut off the connecting part 1, and a case 4 which houses the breaking mechanism 3 and has a penetrating part 28 installed in the wall. The connecting part 1 is composed of a fixed terminal part 6 having a fixed contact 6a (not shown in the figure) and a movable spring part 7 which has a movable contact 7a at one end and is in free rocking with the other end as a fulcrum. The breaking mechanism 3 is composed of an electromagnetic solenoid 20 having a plunger 23 and a latch part 21. The latch part 21 moves freely between a location in which the movable contact 7a contacts the fixed contact 6a and a location in which the movable contact 7a is separated from the fixed contact 6a and includes a contact part 21b and an operating part 21d.
