<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with rich taste facilitating the visual recognition of an alignment of symbols in a big win by setting a winning line detected by a detection section in a strait line and further increasing a player's interest in the big win. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This game machine includes: three reels disposed with a plurality of symbols along the circumferential-face direction and provided along the width direction; a main display section capable of displaying the plurality of symbols, wherein the main display section displays 9 variable symbols; five detection lines consisting of three horizontal detection lines crossing horizontally, and two slanting detection lines disposed on the diagonals of the main display section; sub display sections adjoining lateral to the corner parts of the main display section and capable of displaying one symbol by varying a plurality of symbols displayed on extension lines of the slanting detection lines; and sixth and subsequent slanting detection lines capable of detecting a combination state of three continuous symbols of two adjacent symbols on the slanting detection lines displayed on the main display section and the symbol displayed on the sub display section.
