<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin thread winding device which can relate yarn information written in a non-contact ID tag given to a bobbin thread bobbin to the bobbin thread which is actually wound around the bobbin thread bobbin easily and correctly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This bobbin thread winding device has a tag reader writer 30 and a control device 40 which is connected to the tag reader writer 30 so as to communicate with it. When the yarn of a yarn top A is wound around a bobbin B, the control device 40 reads the yarn information of supply yarn from an ID tag for the yarn top Ta and controls the tag reader writer 30 so that the read yarn information may be written into an ID tag for the bobbin Tb.
