The device has a fixed plate with two parts separated by a slot in which a lateral wall (12) and another later wall are placed or unthreaded, where the lateral walls are plated against each other and connected to form a tube. A clip grasps a head (18) of a bag at top of the fixed plate. A translation unit translates the clip for lifting the bag in order to plate the lateral walls against a lower face of the fixed plate. An introducing unit introduces the lateral walls in the slot of the fixed plate. An independent claim is also included for a bag-filling machine comprising a support.
