PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing box capable of suppressing damage of a connecting structure by dispersing load acting on the connecting structure between a bottom plate and a peripheral plate connected to the bottom plate. SOLUTION: Each supporting hinge portion 42 in a form of an approximately quadrangular plate is formed on a box back plate 41 so as to project forward from the lower end of the internal surface of the back plate. A projection 43 serving as a turning shaft is formed at the leading end of a side edge of each hinge portion 42. When the projection 43 is inserted into a groove portion 15a in the storing portion 15 of the box bottom plate 11, the box back plate 41 is connected to the box bottom plate 11 so as to be slidable thereon. With the box back plate 41 held in an raised position, the upper surfaces of the supporting hinge portions 42 are brought into contact with the lower surface 15b (part of the lower surface of the box bottom plate 11) of the storing portion 15.
