PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adaptively use a nail with a short shaft length even if a lateral opening type magazine is used. SOLUTION: This magazine comprises a cylindrical side wall 1, a bottom 2, and a cover 3 for housing a connection nail which is spirally wound. The side wall 1 is split into two, a cover body 5 including the other side wall 1b and the cover 3 can be opened or closed in parallel to the bottom 2 via a hinge provided at an end of one side wall 1a. A nail post 6 is fixed to the center of the bottom 2, and a nail support 11 is arranged on the nail post 6 movably upward and downward.
