<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an unnecessary lid removed from a cup as a means for stably heat-insulatively supporting the cup, which is cold when it is pinched directly with fingers and is easily deformable, instead of regarding the lid as a useless thing during eating the ice cream, when a person eats ice cream from an ice cream vessel comprising: the cup having a reversed frustoconical circumferential wall whose diameter is reduced from the upper margin of an opening to the lower margin; and the lid covering the upper end opening. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reverse side of the lid keeps the annular receiving surface fitted in the lower end part of the circumferential wall of the cup to engage the cup with the lid by friction engagement.
