<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge structure 10 capable of preventing rainwater from entering into a ridge even if a ridge tile 22 is damaged and a rafter receiver 14 from being corroded or deteriorated and of minimizing the use amount of a roof soil 18, and a ridge cover 21 enabling the ridge structure 10. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The entry of rainwater into the ridge is prevented by the ridge cover 21 even if the ridge tile 22 is damaged by covering the roof soil 18 laid down on crosspiece tiles 17 placed on the right and left sides of the crest of the ridge, the rafter receiver 14, and a rafter 20. The gap between the rear edge 17a of the crosspiece tiles 17 and the side plate 21e of the ridge cover 21 is filled with the roof soil 18. A space without the roof soil 18 is formed between the crosspiece tiles 17 placed on both sides of the ridge in such a manner that the rafter receiver 14 is not buried in the roof soil 18.
