<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding case capable of reducing in weight and further improving productivity by reducing a manufacturing process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Chassis 11 and 13 for accommodating an electronic component or the like are formed by pressing vegetable fiber, and in addition a conductor layer is formed by plating on at least one of internal and external surfaces of walls 11a and 13a defining a storage space 17 of the chassis 11 and 13.
