Disclosed are a system and method for ventilating a subway station, in which, if the air pollution level outside the subway station is higher than that outside the subway station, the inside of the subway station is set to a positive pressure state, such that external air is not introduced into the subway station, and only if the air pollution level outside the subway station is lower than that outside the subway station, the inside of the subway station is set to a negative pressure state, such that the inside of the subway station can be automatically ventilated according to the difference in air pressure between the inside and the outside of the subway station, and thus the air cleaning efficiency of the system can be sufficiently maintained without needing periodic replacement, maintenance, repair or management of a filter, and unnecessary ventilation can be stopped, if the air pollution level outside the subway station is higher than that inside the subway station. |
