PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic communication apparatus equipped with a user interface having two folding components and/or two active operation modes. SOLUTION: An electronic communication apparatus includes: first and second members which are a first member and a second member each having a first surface and an opposite second surface and in which a user interface is provided on the first surface of the first member; and a connection means which connects the first member and the second member to be movable so as to locate the first member and the second member separately at open positions in the first active operation mode of the user interface, to locate the first member and the second member together at a first closed position in the second active operation mode, and to close the second surface of the first member toward one surface of the other member.
