<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable leg guard protecting the whole of the lower thigh of a wearer so as to prevent her (his) body from damage even when bitten by a dog or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The leg guard is worn around the lower thigh ranging from below the knee to the ankle, and includes: a sheet-like body 2 made of flexible raw material; flat plate-like protective pieces 3 which are spread over the outer surface side of the sheet-like body, each of which is independently attached fixedly to the sheet-like body and which have strength enough to inhibit the fangs of a dog or the like from passing therethrough when bitten by the dog; and fasteners 4 arranged on the sheet-like body so as to maintain the sheet-like body to be wound around her (his) lower thigh. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
