<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film which has excellent abrasion resistance, further has excellent antiglare properties and has excellent visibility in a bright room, and does not newly bring out problems such as uneven thickness caused by drying air flow, and also to provide a polarizing plate using the antiglare film, and an image display apparatus which has excellent abrasion resistance and satisfactory visibility using the polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed the antiglare film characterized in that: the surface of a transparent plastic film base material is provided with an antiglare layer having fine ruggedness at the surface; the outermost surface of the antiglare layer is provided with an abrasion resistant layer; the average film thickness of the abrasion resistant layer is 0.03 to 0.4 μm; and the abrasion resistant layer is formed from a curable composition comprising (A) inorganic fine particles with the average particle diameter of 1 to 300 nm essentially consisting of silicon oxide, (B) an ionizing radiation curable resin, and (C) a polymer thickener. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
