<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly allowing an operator to safely and surely insert it to a target site with a simple operation and surely fix an outer catheter indwelled at the target site to the target site. <P>SOLUTION: This catheter assembly 1 includes an outer catheter 2 and an inner catheter 6. The outer catheter 2 has an outer catheter body 3 and a soft tip 4 with high flexibility. The inner catheter 6 has an inner catheter body 7 being insertable in the interior of the outer catheter body 3, a soft tip 8 with high flexibility, and a hub 9 connectable to a hub 5.
