DTP DATA MODIFICATION DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DTP data modification device capable of interactively correcting character information, etc. of a document.

SOLUTION: The DTP data modification device includes means for: displaying a page on the basis of a structured document for display; accepting modification of a part of the displayed page from a user to reflect the contents of modification on a structured document for composition of a first prescribed unit including a modified part; generating DTP data of the first prescribed unit corresponding to the structured document for composition of the first prescribed unit on the basis of the structured document for composition of the first prescribed unit including the modified part among structured documents for composition on which the contents of modification are reflected; and replacing DTP data at a part corresponding to the DTP data of the first prescribed unit generated by a DTP data generation means among pieces of DTP data of a second prescribed unit which is larger than the first prescribed unit with DTP data of the first prescribed unit generated by the DTP data generation means.
