PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus which has a fluid absorber capable of absorbing a sufficient amount of fluid without solidifying the fluid, and to provide a manufacturing method for the fluid jetting apparatus. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer is equipped with a recording head 4 which jets the ink toward recording paper. The inkjet printer has an ink absorber 42 which absorbs the ink jetted from the recording head 4.
