PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high positioning accuracy with a small number of steps. SOLUTION: A layered product 1a includes a display body layer including a birefringent layer comprising a solidified liquid crystal material and a supporting body supporting the display body layer so as to be peelable. The display body layer includes a display body L0 peeled from the supporting body used as a label supported by an article different from the supporting body and a peripheral part adjacent to the display body L0 in a direction parallel to the principal surface of the display body layer. In the peripheral part, the birefringent layer includes a plurality of parts DA3 and DA4 whose alignment states of the mesogen of the liquid crystal material are different from each other and at least a part DA4 of the plurality of parts constitutes a latent image as an alignment mark.
