PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator monitoring system allowing the work for restoring use of an elevator having a weak person in it to be performed with the first priority. SOLUTION: A C/R1 inputs card ID from passenger's ID card. A personal ID information storing device 4 stores the personal information formed by letting the registered card ID and personal attribute correspond to each other per person. A C/R controller 2 checks whether the card ID is registered or not and obtains the personal attribute corresponding to the registered card ID when registered. An elevator controller 9 transmits the information 94 about elevator user including passenger's personal attribute to a monitoring device 12 when detecting abnormality of the elevator. When the monitoring device 12 receives the information 94 about elevator user from a plurality of elevator controllers 9, the monitoring device 12 specifies the elevator having the weak person to be rescued with the highest priority in it based on the personal attribute of the passengers in each elevator and outputs instructions 95 for dispatching the elevator for rescue to each elevator in accordance with the order of priority.
