PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost for replacement, to improve ease of replacement work, and to prevent breakage or deformation of a shaft member, by preventing interference of the shaft member with a peripheral member in attaching/detaching the shaft member. SOLUTION: A differential gear device includes: a differential case having a ring gear meshed with a gear part disposed to an end of a drive pinion, formed to an outer periphery thereof, and rotated by receiving power of the drive pinion; a pinion shaft mounted to the differential case and rotated together with the differential case; a plurality of pinion gears mounted to the differential case and disposed to the pinion shaft; and a right gear and a left gear mounted to the differential case and meshed with the pinion gears. The pinion shaft 31 has divided faces 41a, 42a extended in an axial direction. A projection 42c is formed to a divided shaft 42, and a recess 41c fitted to the projection 42c is formed to the divided shaft 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
