Wasteful power consumption is reduced. An electronic device (10) having a power feeding function is connected to a battery device (20), which has a battery (21), through a cable (30), and the electronic device can be fed with power through the cable (30). A detecting section (13) detects completion of recharging of the battery (21) of the battery device (20) through the cable (30), and a power supply control section (12) controls the power supply of the electronic device (10) to be in an off status from the on status when completion of recharging of the battery (21) is detected. This invention is applicable to, for instance, a game machine or the like composed of a game machine main body and a controller for game. |
