<p>PURPOSE: A hot water circulation system associated with a heat pump and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the installation process and manufacturing cost by employing only a single water cooling heat exchanger heat-exchanged with a heat pump coolant cycle. CONSTITUTION: A hot water circulation system associated with a heat pump comprises an outdoor unit, an indoor unit(3), a hot water circulation unit, and a connection pipe. The outdoor unit includes a compressor(21), an outdoor heat exchanger(23), and an expansion part(24) and performs heat pump refrigerant cycle. The indoor unit comprises a water coolant heat exchanger(31) which performs heat exchange between coolant discharged from the compressor and water. The hot water circulation unit receives heated water discharged from the indoor unit and performs hot water supply or heating. The connection pipe connects the inlet side and the outlet side of the indoor unit so that the water passing through the water coolant heat exchanger circulates during a defrost operation of the outdoor unit.</p> |
