EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device inhibiting accumulation of solids formed from urea water and securing satisfactory exhaust emission control efficiency.

SOLUTION: Communication between an upstream side casing 30 and a downstream side casing 34 is provided by a communication path 32 including a first and a second bending part 32a, 32b, and an ammonia selective reduction NOx catalyst 40 selectively reducing NOx in exhaust gas is held in the downstream side casing 34 as reducing agent. Urea water is injected from an urea water injector 44 to exhaust gas flowing in the communication path 32 from the upstream side casing 30. Heat insulating material 56 inhibiting heat radiation from an inside of the communication path 32 to an outside is provided at a zone covering at least part of zone of an inside wall surface of the communication path 32 where the exhaust gas flowing in the first bending part 32a collides with the first bending part 32a.
