<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a door beam capable of sufficiently absorbing an impact caused by a door beam without increasing a cross section area of the door beam and deforming a bracket when a collision load is applied upon a side-surface collision at an automobile accident, and being easily mounted. Ž<P>SOLUTION: While a flange 12 of an end 10a of the door beam is locked to L-shaped protrusions 21, 22 of a platy bracket 20 in bulging flanges 12a, 12b, flanges 23, 24 of the platy bracket 20 are joined to a peripheral edge of an inner panel 30, and the door beam 10 is mounted to the inner panel 30 of an automobile side door.
