<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst coated body which exhibits excellent weatherability, decomposability of harmful gases, and other desirable properties (ultraviolet absorbability, transparency, film strength, etc.) while preventing a substrate from eroding, and to provide a photocatalytic coating liquid. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst coated body is provided with the substrate and a photocatalyst layer installed on the substrate. The photocatalyst layer contains photocatalyst particles of 1 or more and less than 20 pts.mass, inorganic oxide particles of more than 70 and 99 or less pts.mass, and hydrolytic silicones of 0 or more and less than 10 pts.mass so that the total of the photocatalyst particles, the inorganic oxide particles and the hydrolytic silicones becomes 100 pts.mass, and further contains a gloss adjusting agent.
