PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag of epoxy resin particles having low melt viscosity and excellent fluidity in molding, causing little blocking trouble in storage and transportation and having easy handleability. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin expressed by general formula (1) and purified to satisfy the requirements that the total content of the n<SP>1</SP>=0 component having a molecular weight of≤500 is≥50 mass% in the total epoxy resin or the total content of the component having a molecular weight of≤400 is≥20 mass% in the total epoxy resin and the sum of the contents of compounds having a molecular weight of≤200 is≤0.28 mass%, is granulated under conditions that the total content of the compounds having a molecular weight of≤200 is≤0.3 mass%, and the obtained particulate epoxy resin is hermetically packaged.
