<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing preventing the looseness of a pin of a retainer, without increasing the number of parts or the number of processes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of rollers 13 interposed between an inner ring 11 and an outer ring 12 are retained by a retainer 20. The retainer 20 has a plurality of pins 23 penetrating the rollers to rotatably support the rollers 13 are disposed between a pair of annular side plates 21, 22. While a pair of side plates 26 divided by a slit 25 formed to one annular side plate 21 is elastically deformed in an axial direction, a male screw 23a of the pin 23 is screwed with a female screw 24a of one annular side plate 21 and the pair of side plates 26 is elastically restored, so that the female screw 24a presses the male screw 23a in the axial direction. Friction torque with respect to rotation in a direction of looseness of the pin becomes large to prevent the looseness of the pin. Therefore, the need of manufacturing additional parts for constituting the retainer and increasing the number of processes for incorporating the parts, for preventing the looseness of the pin, is eliminated.
