PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strike a balance between the improvement in sound quality of a speaker and the decrease in manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a diaphragm for speakers by papermaking and molding includes: a material throwing-in process ST1 for throwing pulp, namely a material of the diaphragm for speakers, in a beater containing water; a beating process ST2 for beating the pulp; a mixing process ST3 for mixing a material including cellulose of natural fiber; a papermaking process ST4 for making in a diaphragm shape; and a dry process ST5 for drying the diaphragm.
