PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead wire fixing method and a lead wire fixing structure, which can eliminate an additional component for fixing the lead wire and can easily fix the lead wire in a housing. SOLUTION: In the fixing structure of the lead wire 30 electrically and mutually connecting the stator winding wound around the stator core of a motor to the electric connector 26 attached to the cover 22 covering the extension part of the stator winding on one end side of the stator core, the lead wire 30 with a length of from a primary minimum buckling load to a secondary minimum buckling load is wired in the cover 22, and the lead wire 30 is laterally bent B to cause the side portion of the lead wire 30 to abut on the inner wall surface 22 of the cover 22 to be secured thereto.
