<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing film having excellent flatness, stable productivity, transmittance for rays and light diffusing property while maintaining excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength intrinsic to a biaxially stretched film. <P>SOLUTION: The light diffusing film is a biaxially stretched film containing a crystalline polyester by 60 to 98 parts by mass, and a light diffusing additive by 2 to 40 parts by mass comprising a thermoplastic resin incompatible with the above polyester. The refractive index difference between the polyester and the light diffusing additive is not less than 0.01 and the aspect ratio of particle diameters (minor diameter/major diameter) of the light diffusing additive in the biaxially stretched film ranges from 0.10 to 1.00. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
